I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

SurfStarters is located on Walloon Lake, Michigan (the same lake as Tommy’s Walloon where people can rent the Axis Wake Research surf boat). When you start your day with SurfStarters, you can maximize your time (and fun) out on the water.

Beginner Wakesurfing Lessons. We created Surf Starters to help beginner wakesurfers find their first success and land their first trick. The Rapid Ride™ method is an all-in-one recipe for wakesurfing success. Our wakesurfing lessons teach surfers how to surf, drivers how to drive, and spotters how to keep everyone safe. We leave you feeling confident and competent out on the water no matter your previous experience.

Beginner eFoil Lessons. Now, we’ve expanded Surf Starters to provide eFoil demos where you can experience the feeling of flying above the water. Our first eFoil lesson will teach surfers how to control the board on the water and fall with grace and safety. Some surfers can progress in the same demo to standing and flying. Everyone will leave with a unique experience no matter how far they progress.
