Interested in carrying on the WakeScout mission?

For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Over the next few months, I hope to transition the site to a new ownership team. If you or your organization has an interest in carrying on the vision in support of our worldwide water sport community, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks very much for your tremendous support of WakeScout!

About

Every summer, campers ages 7-16 choose to spend their summer at River Way Ranch Camp, California’s top co-ed traditional overnight summer camp. With the list of options now topping 75, River Way Ranch Camp offers a wider range of summer camp activities than almost any camp in the nation! Our program of recreational and learning opportunities has something for every interest, such as culinary arts, horseback riding, ropes challenge course, film production, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, waterskiing, waverunners, and sports of all kinds. Designed for campers ages 10 years and older who prefer to spend most of their time at the lake, River Way’s premier Waterski/Wakeboard Camp offers plenty of instruction each week.

This program is designed for both beginner-level and experienced riders. Beginners are encouraged to learn the basics of waterskiing, wakeboarding and/or kneeboarding at their own pace. They are taught on a ski boom and most experience success on their first visit to the lake.

Our more advanced campers learn wake-to-wake jumps and aerial tricks as well as the elements of body position, board control, edging, jumping and spinning. In addition, they have the opportunity to advance their free-riding skills wakeskating or wakesurfing. Campers also have the opportunity to review and critique their performance on video and practice new skills on the trampoline.
