Interested in carrying on the WakeScout mission?

For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Over the next few months, I hope to transition the site to a new ownership team. If you or your organization has an interest in carrying on the vision in support of our worldwide water sport community, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks very much for your tremendous support of WakeScout!

About

Since 1995, Sandy Hill has offered one- and two-week action-packed, traditional, residential camp experiences for boys and girls who have completed 2nd through 10th grades on our 643 scenic acres overlooking the Upper Chesapeake Bay in North East, Maryland.

We are family-owned and operated, licensed, and ACA-accredited.

Our program is designed to help each camper learn and grow through a wide variety of fun activities. Campers are supervised by a caring and qualified staff who lead by example to create a safe and nurturing environment. Fly down a zipline, ride a horse, learn to sail, take a dip in the pool and so much more.

With 30 instructional activities to choose from, campers can truly customize their Sandy Hill experience. Campers have three instructional activities each week chosen from the extensive list below. These classes meet daily for an hour and fifteen minutes, allowing campers to improve their skills under the guidance of experienced and well-trained instructors. Campers attending for multiple weeks have a different set of activities each week. Classes are assigned based on the date of registration, so be sure to register as early as possible, as spaces are limited in some activities (especially waterskiing and horseback riding).

Our watersports include paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking to interesting destinations on the water near camp, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Beginning to advanced skiiers are welcome in this popular activity (additional fee.)
