For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Whitestone Lake Estates is a gated water ski community nestled in the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains in Talking Rock, Ga., about an hour drive from Atlanta. The facility includes two private man-made competition water ski lakes. Each lake has a boat dock with a hoist, starting docks and a slalom course. Additionally, Lake 1 has a jump ramp and course. Whitestone offers water skiing, jump, trick skiing, kneeboarding and barefoot waterskiing behind their Correct Craft Ski Nautique 196 and MasterCraft ski boats.

Whitestone typically hosts several tournaments during the season. We have also hosted the AWSA Southern Regional Championships, the Southern Region Barefoot Championships, the Kneeboard Nationals and the first stop of the 2008 Pro Water Ski Tour.

There is a large pavilion between the lakes which provides excellent viewing and space for officials during tournaments. There is also a small clubhouse on Lake 1. It features a changing area, a workbench, storage shelves, a picnic area, and a refrigerator.

Whitestone Lake Estates is a private ski lake community, so you must be a guest of a property owner to ski. Please arrange a skiing partner before you visit.
