About
The new Wake Park facility at Alandsrydsbacken is now open. The facility is run non-profit by Finnvedens slalom club and is part of Borgen Outdoor in Värnamo municipality. The facility is top-class and can be described as a “ski lift” on water, electrically powered and environmentally friendly. There are also unique jumps of varying difficulty.
We look forward to developing the sport of wakeboarding in Värnamo and for the facility to become a meeting place during the summer for everyone, old and young.
No prior knowledge is required and we have trained instructors on site. All equipment is included such as wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and board. All participants are responsible for their own equipment such as swimming trunks/swimsuit and towel. Toilets and changing facilities are available.
