Amid the fragrant pines and crisp mountain air of the Sierra National Forest, discover a hidden treasure - The Pines Resort. Located just 17 miles outside of Yosemite's south gate, the resort is a perfect hub for your outdoor adventures as well as a great destination for your family vacation.

Bass Lake sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. While a lot of them treat it as a hub for their Yosemite adventures, nearly a half comes specifically for the Lake and water activities. Bass Lake is classified as a "warm water" lake with its temperature reaching 80 degrees in summer months. There are three, privately owned and operated boat rentals on Bass Lake (one on the north shore and two on the south shore) that offer a great variety of water crafts; from pontoon boats, ski boats, jet skis to kayaks, paddle boards and water tubes.
