For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Over the next few months, I hope to transition the site to a new ownership team. If you or your organization has an interest in carrying on the vision in support of our worldwide water sport community, please feel free to reach out.

Really Fun Wakeboarding
I was traveling through Costa Rica and stopped in Tilaran to do some wakeboarding. I didn't think I would be doing any serious wakeboarding, but I was extremely surprised by the level of coaching, wake and equipment I received. Sander is a fantastic coach who catered his driving, rope length and technique to work with the tricks I was trying. He is great to be around and is stoked on wakeboarding and sharing that passion with local Ticos and tourists. I highly recommend stopping by and learning from him and would be happy to provide you more information if you are looking for it. The best!
If you are in Costa Rica and want to wakeboard, trust me: FlyZone is the place to go! I also wakeboarded with another guy on the same lake (PACR), which was nice, but FlyZone is on another level! My girlfriend didn't manage to get up on the board at PACR. We thought she couldn't do it, but when we came to FlyZone she got up within 5 minutes. So excited! My friend who owns a boat and wakeboards more often learned much better technique at FlyZone. The boat (a Nautique) has a perfect wake and they have a lot of great gear. We had an excellent time and definitely will be back. Finally, the rates at FlyZone are much better too.
