About
Hidden away behind Woodford, is the ultimate water-ski training site. The site features a purpose built International standard lake that features a full and half slalom course, Ski jump and a jet ski - wake skate - slider park. The Community based Woodford Water Ski Club Inc. operates the extremely safe and private facility, and currently has over 150 members. Members can learn to ski barefoot, or wakeboard with the clubs accredited instructors and, as an added bonus, you are guaranteed to get up and ski in the first lesson. The club can design custom training programs for the more serious skiers who like to ski more than once or twice a year, either for fitness or to take themselves to National or World Championships. You will see World Champion Barefooters at the Club almost every weekend, in fact, you will see more World Champions across all of the water ski disciplines at the Club, at one time than anywhere else in Australia. The depth of knowledge and friendliness of the members in the Club make it worthwhile to be a part of.
