About
Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports is a foundation based out of Locust Grove, VA. Currently, our events all take place at Lake of the Woods.
We are a non-profit organization that grew out of the Lake of the Woods Ski Club. The Ski Club is a waterski show team that realized the impact they could have by sharing their passion for waterskiing with others who might not have the opportunity otherwise.
We are always looking to bring more participants to our events. Our participants are extremely diverse and include people living with: down syndrome, cerebral palsy, PTSD, social anxiety, and/or physical disabilities.
If you have any questions about whether you or a loved one can participate, feel free to contact us. It is also not required that our participants know how to swim.
