Interested in carrying on the WakeScout mission?

For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Over the next few months, I hope to transition the site to a new ownership team. If you or your organization has an interest in carrying on the vision in support of our worldwide water sport community, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks very much for your tremendous support of WakeScout!

About

We have been providing children with a place to grow since 1928 in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Lakeville, Connecticut. Camp Sloane has been built around the things we know you as a parent are looking for. Safety is our #1 priority, we employ a high quality and well-trained staff and we offer a wide range of fun and exciting activities. Everything that we do is based on our four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. One of the things we do best is to help your child make new and strong friendships every day.

If your camper wants to dive deeper into a specific elective then signing up for one of our special experiences is the right choice. For our waterskiing experience, campers will participate in a double-period of skiing and wakeboard riding the first week of camp. Campers do a fun waterski overnight during the second week with a sunset ski and a night of camping and a lobster dinner at our tent area near the water ski dock. The next morning is spent on the water for a “breakfast ski”. In addition to water ski and wakeboard, campers will have ample opportunities to participate in our other activities at camp. This program is open only to two-week campers, as the second week provides adequate time to make up for uncooperative weather, should the need arise. Ski campers are also eligible to sign up for lessons during the second week of camp.
