Interested in carrying on the WakeScout mission?

For the past 15 years, it has been my pleasure to provide the worldwide water sport community with WakeScout, your resource to discover all the places in the world where you can get on the water to enjoy your favorite water sport.

I have made the decision to join you and travel the world, visiting WakeScout entities around the globe and shred incredible water in idyllic locations.

Over the next few months, I hope to transition the site to a new ownership team. If you or your organization has an interest in carrying on the vision in support of our worldwide water sport community, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks very much for your tremendous support of WakeScout!

About

Wake Island is the first modern full-sized cable wake park on the West Coast!

Wake Island is an 80 acre watersports park that consists of a five-tower cable system for wakeboarding and wakeskating, a two-tower cable system for beginners, as well as a 16-acre lake used for boating and an 8-acre lagoon used for paddle boarding. The park introduces beginners to the exciting sports of wakeboarding & wakeskating, while offering experienced riders the ability to further develop their skills without the use of a boat!

With 7,000 square feet of observation deck, a tropical beach, and an assortment of food and beverages, Wake Island is a great place to hang out with the entire family for the day.

Our 2,300 ft boat lake is specifically designed for water skiing. The USA Water Ski approved slalom course is set up for Perfect Pass speed control with timing magnets. The abundant poplar, pine, and eucalyptus trees surrounding the lake, as well as a 12ft high berm running the length of the lake provide an ideal windbreak. Butter, glass, call it what you want but Wake Island’s boat lake has nothing but optimal skiing conditions at all times. A covered dock is available for day use. The boat lake is limited to private membership and members have access to special cable pass rates, please call for more details.

Forget that gym membership, it is time to start taking your lunch breaks with us riding and enjoying our free wifi. The only thing you need to bring is a swimsuit & a towel, we provide everything else!
